Strain theories

Strain theories tem muitos autores e variantes. Robert Merton faz uma utilização diferente do conceito de anomia. Seu livro, Social Theory and Social Stucture, é um clássico e deveria ser lido por todos. Um dos principais nomes mais recentes é Agnew. Abaixo, alguns dos principais trabalhos de Agnew e tentativas de orientar pesquisas empíricas usando a teoria.
